Nook Color: proof that we're living in a fictionalized verson of the future.

In the early nineties I saw an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation featuring a technological curiosity known simply as a PADD. With this device, students could store entire textbooks as well as personal notes. Crew members used them to assemble duty rosters, write reports, perform inventories, access crew information and interface with the ship's computer. A few years ago we were all introduced to another such device; the e-reader. Even in its infancy the e-reader amazed consumers with its ability to lighten the backpacks of countless hunchbacked students and condense entire libraries to the size of a small notebook. Soon after, they were able to connect to the internet, and now, Barnes and Noble has highlighted the most obvious flaw of its predecessors: their inability to display colors and play music. Yep, the thing plays music for cryin' out loud. Now I must have one, which is why I entered to win one at http://bklc.us/2y. I recommend you do the same. If I have piqued your interest, you can read about the Nook Color's specs at the Barnes and Noble website. Wish me luck!
